Pediatric Development Outreach Program

The Pediatric Development Outreach Program program provides FREE informational events and FREE resources to the community to share developmental milestones; ideas for parents to encourage the development of their child’s communication, sensory, feeding, and motor skills; red flags for developmental delay; what parents can do if they are concerned about their child’s development; and the process for initiating and funding developmental therapy services.

The events and materials are created by pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists and are aimed at families, teachers, and childcare professionals.

The goal is to increase caregiver and community capacities, including knowledge, skills, and resources to identify children who may benefit from developmental services and to help the families obtain and fund these services as early as possible.
